2009-2010 Writing Competition Honoree:
Our Second Annual Writing Competition was held in honor of Harry Aladano Pacini (1935 – 2009), President of the San Francisco Patent Law Association 1987-1988, the precursor organization of the SFIPLA. Harry was an alumnus of the Golden Gate University in San Francisco. He worked as a chemist and a patent agent in the Bay Area for over forty years. His leadership of the then Patent Association laid the foundation for today’s SFIPLA. In memory of Harry’s commitment to the practice of Intellectual Property law, the Board of the SFIPLA is proud to hold the second annual writing competition in his honor.
