Harry A. Pacini
1935-2009
Harry Aladino Pacini, 73, of Reno, NV, passed away on June 29, 2009 at Renown Regional Medical Center, Reno, NV. He was born on December 27, 1935 on the Aiazzi Ranch in Yerington, NV to Aladino and Adina (Aiazzi) Pacini.
Harry grew up in Sparks and graduated from Sparks High School in 1953. He graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno in 1958 with a major in Chemistry. He received a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from Golden Gate University in San Francisco, CA. He worked in the chemical industry in the San Francisco Bay area; first as a Chemist and then as a Patent Agent for 40 years. After retiring he returned to Reno to live. He married Charlyne Reid in 1958 sharing life together for 51 years and raising a family of two children.
Harry is survived by his wife, Charlyne; his mother, Adina; his son, John W. and his wife, Sheryl of Reno, NV; daughter, Barbara and her husband, Xavier Irias of Walnut Creek, CA; grandson, Kevin Pacini and wife, Patricia; great-grandson, Ryan Pacini and three step great- grandchildren of Florida; Kevin is in the Navy serving in Guantanamo Bay; grandson, Alan Pacini and fiancé, Jessica Chapel, Alan is in the Army stationed in Georgia; grandchildren, Bryan and Shannon Perkins and three step- grandchildren, of Walnut Creek, CA. Harry was preceded in death by his father, Aladino Pacini and his sister, Wanda Mizzell.
He was a member of St. Albert the Great Catholic Church, a member of the Italian Catholic Federation, Reno Branch and a life member of the Central Council and a member of the Italian Benevolent Society. He was president of the San Francisco Patent Law Association in 1987-88.
